As a cashier/clerk, your primary objective will be to ensure that everyone who enters our pharmacy receives an excellent experience. Serving as the first point of contact with our valued customers, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the store and surrounding areas, as well as providing assistance to customers with their product inquiries, promotions, or locating specific items.
In your role as a cashier/clerk, you will engage with customers, inquire about their needs, and provide personalized assistance to help them make informed purchasing decisions. You will guide customers to the appropriate aisles or sections, offering your expertise and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience.
Operating scanners, cash registers, and other electronic devices will be part of your daily tasks. You will handle customer payments, ensuring accuracy in pricing and quantity calculations. Your attention to detail will guarantee that transactions are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
As a valued member of our team, you will receive, unpack, and place merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring that products are accurately labeled and displayed attractively. Regularly replenishing stock levels and maintaining well-stocked shelves and displays will be essential to meet customer demands.
Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the store will be an ongoing responsibility. You will regularly empty trash cans and promptly clean up any spills to create a safe and pleasant shopping environment for our customers.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you may be assigned other tasks by the manager or pharmacists, contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and care.
